This is an epic honey story but information technology makes you wonder if good tin can overcome evil and if it can what is the ultimate cost that will be paid for it. Kara and Maximus are hoping that their love will prevail and that no one will exist injure in the process, but only fourth dimension will tell if that is what will happen because we are left with some other cliffhanger and this one had me nearly jumping out of my skin with a lot of WTF's coming out of my mouth.

Leaving off right where the first book ended, our two main characters are laying around waiting to hear news of what their future will entail. Will they be able to love each other without limits? Will the demi god'southward father, Zeus, help and will the half demon's mother, Veronica, discover out and blow a gasket?
To be honest, I questioned myself quite often on whether I should give up and move on. I found it difficult to keep myself engaged. The characters are non overly likeable, for they seem to recall everyone else will solve their problems for them. Plus their relationships seems to be stagnant and definitely not at the level I would expect for them both being half human and thus having some extra nonhuman abilities. As for the plot, that is slow and redundant - until I hit the last few chapters and was able to say 'finally'! Finally, some action was to be had, and it could non take left me more intrigued for the third volume.
Once again, I find myself excited to read the next book. I notwithstanding have a desire to learn the outcome and to follow the journeying of the characters. Though, I know that excitement is on its last leg. It volition not take much for me to give up entirely. Fingers crossed, the 3rd book will be redeemable!

I accept been dying for this volume since the moment I finished Blood of Zeus. Meredith Wild and Affections Payne completely knocked it out of the park with the second book in this series. The moment it starts you lot are transported right dorsum to where things left off for Maximus and Kara and from at that place it is an never catastrophe ride that volition have you on the edge of your seat the unabridged time.More secrets are revealed. Meredith Wild and Angel Payne take created a beautiful world that blends romance and paranormal in prefect harmony.Centre of Fire picks up where book one ends and the chemistry between Maximus and Kara intensifies as their relationship! Just like in Claret of Zeus (book one) we are in for a journey and ane hell of a bewilderment!

Just as quick a read as the first volume was, but did miss some of the 'spark' and intensity that was nowadays in book 1. It's an okay follow up that does go out me excited for the adjacent installment, but it's a typical 2nd volume to me and I was expecting a bit more of it to be honest. The development went a bit up and down instead of growing
